SaintFM - The community radio station for the Maldon District on which Tim Aves presents The Blues is Back, an excellent Blues show on Sunday evenings whilst other Armadillos and their kin present other shows.

European Blues Foundation  - A fine organisation here in the UK aiming to be the resource for all things to do with African American music

Movinmusic  - Promoting quality Blues & Blues related music and home of the Movinmusic Digital Blues Gig Guide, probably the most comprehensive UK Blues gig guides on the web.  Also representing some great bands & artists. A great site with loads of good music!

Rocking the Blues  - Derek White's multi-faceted Blues & real r'n'b resources site featuring news, gigs, situations vacant and home of the Rocking the Blues Festival and gigs.

Pete Feenstra  - The home of one of London's major promoters of Blues at various venues in and around town. Pete's excellent site also features revues, tracks from recent CD's and much more.

The Retreat at Bocking  - A lovely pub venue where you can get intimate with the bands. Top local, national & international acts and a great selection of beers plus a fine restaurant.

Riga MusicBar  - Southend's Premier live Music Venue. Run by Steve, Dave and the crew and offering one of the most varied programmes you will find including loads of top Blues acts.

The SEAXE Bar - The excellent venue at the Essex Arms in Brentwood that used to be known as Pam's Bar. With music 5 nights a week it is home to two top jams and features many cracking bands.

Small Planet Music  - An agency run by Blues loving Elaine promoting some cracking acts and heavily involved in some major Festivals

St Annes Castle - the oldest Inn in England with log fires, a warm welcome, and some of the best music around from all genres

Blue Touch - Excellent blues rock band fronted by the lady who put the raunch in the Blues, Andrea Maria. You give me Fever!

Cadillac Kings  - Premium Quality Blues, Jump & Swing from the band whose "Highway 17" CD was voted Blues album of 2004 by the Times!

The Cherrybombs  - Hockley based real R'n'B band promising a "explosively good entertainment"

Claude Bourbon - The Frog with the happy Blues. Stunning guitar picking and a unique vocal delivery that always enthrals

Coalhousewalker Blues Band  - Hertfordshire based 5 piece featuring great boogie woogie piano and having a good time!

Danny Bryant's RedEye Band  - Protege of Walter Trout and one of the top young guitarists in the UK, Danny is one of Blues Matters! highest selling artists, deservedly so in my opinion. Now with Rounder.

Dr Ika  - The unique Georgian neurosurgeon who plays stunning guitar with Grapevine Blues Band.

Egypt - The very popular Blues Matters! heavy blues rock trio featuring former Groundhogs Eric, Alan & Pete - Egypt rocks!

The Elevators  - superb Brighton based band - Electic Blues for the connoisseur now starting to gig again.

funkydory - Great band featuring Jules Fothergill & Lorna Reilly. "This group aim at the head and feet with some dazzling instrumental interludes and danceable beats" - Pete Sargeant - ResonanceFM

Grant Tunbridge  - "Cheeky" Tunbridge, excellent bass player with many bands and improbably youthful looking!

Grapevine Blues  - The highly original band that features Mike Chase, Dr Ika & Caz Devine. 2005 saw their 2000th gig!

The Guv'nors  - Bluesmaster Bob Hokum's excellent Frunk Blues Acid Jazz latin mix it up and make it cook band.

Hamilton Loomis - From Houston Texas - Blues out of the box - a multi instrumentalist signed to Blind Pig Records

Hair Of The Dog  - Just when you thought it was safe to go back in the Pub, along comes a beastie… a Beast of Boogie in the shape of 'Hair of the Dog'

Ian Parker  - Stunning singer/songwriter/guitarist - signed to Ruf Records and a man who should be famous!

Incredible Blues Puppies  - A great straight down the road Blues band featuring four very experienced and talented musicians

Jamie Williams  - Talented singer both with the Jamie Williams Band and solo as well as being a prolific and soulful songwriter.

The Jives  - Top guitar/harp duo of Jeff Chapman & Al E Bye playing blues & r'n'b. Enjoyment is the key word

Jules Fothergill  - The home of Slide Jules, ace guitarist with funkydory and the James O'Leary Band to name but two. Gateway to many other sites!

Little Toby Walker  - THE man. Stunning guitarist, raconteur, songwriter and singer and a really nice guy!

Matt Schofield  - Brilliant young guitarist who, with his superb trio, is taking the World by storm

Mark Flanagan  - Fine blues guitarist with Jool Holland's Rhythm & Blues Orchestra and now with his own band the Fields

Marty Prior  - British pro bass player, session man and teacher - bass man of choice for Gregg Wright when he tours the UK

The Mellotones  - a superb Dutch band that describe themselves as "nubluz" & "Texas Blues meets Classic Rock", signed to Blues Matters!

Michael Messer  - Virtuoso slide guitar player

Mick Pini  - The real McCoy! Great musician, great guitarist, definitely a legend. Catch him f you can!

Mick West  - Highly experienced and hard working guitarist/singer/songwriter much in demand on the solo circuit.

Mike O'Leary  - Essex based singer/songwriter/guitarist perhaps best known for his composition "Politician Blues".

Mo'Indigo  - in the words of Guardian critic, John Fordham, "a dynamic British blues and soul band".

Nigel Bagge - Smoky voiced signer guitarist with too many bands to mention, all of which are superb!

The Nightflies   - The superb Essex band who were being hailed as the 21st century's Feelgoods. Sadly no more

NuBlues  - From Colchester the young band bringing the Blues to the rap & hip-hop generation and taking the US by storm!

Nuno Mindelis  - From Brazil by way of Texas and Canada, the Brazilian Eric Clapton.

Papa George Band - A superb band fronted by singer, songwriter and guitarist supreme, Papa George.

Paul Jobson  - Stunning young keyboard player much in demand by touring big names and oft spied with top UK bands

Roadhouse - Superb rocking blues band fronted by Gary Boner. Celebrating 15 years on the road in 2006 and  signed to Blues Matters!

The Robert Hokum Band  - Bob Hokum's other band, the 'return to the roots' alter ego of The Guv'nors. Stripped down and authentic playing from a real bunch of talent

Rockin' Armadillos  - Texas blues with an Essex twist. The multi-year, multi-Digital Blues award winning band featuring two great vocalists, two great guitarists and a rock solid rhythm section.

Roy Mette - the Essex troubadour and local treasure. Supremely talented singer/songwriter and guitarist much in demand throught the UK & now Europe for festivals and top venues

Sam Kelly  - London based drum meister, voted British Blues Connection “Drummer of the Year” for five years running. Also home to details about Station House and the Primo Blues Band, Sam's great bands

Sam Payne  - The cool jazzy music has a harder undercurrent, mirroring Sam's slinky voice. Real talent doesn't come along often but Sam is the goods.- Richard Foxcroft - French radio

Sean Webster  - Leicester based singer/sonwriter/guitarist singed to Blues Matters! who described him as "A real gem!".

The Soul Kitchen   - multiple award winners in the 2005 Digital Blues awards and a great band comprising some very fine musicians

The SPIKEdrivers  - Ben, Constance & Maurice, simply superb blues in a laid back style. Unique & wonderful.

Storm Warning   - Excellent Buckinghamshire based band with an excellent and individual style. Fast building an enviable reputation

The Strats  - Blues Matters! duo hailing from County Monaghan playing some very tasty numbers and sounding like a band.

Swamp Cats - From the deepest, darkest Dengie delta, a tasty gumbo of a band featuring Dave "Werewolf" Richardson.

Temperton Bones  - the band for which the word "quirky" was invented. Fronted by the highly individual Simon Temperton, their repertoire covers a very broad spectrum. Now sadly no more.

Terry Wisbey's Texas Thunder - a very underrated power blues trio. One of Essex' best kept secrets!!!?

3am  - Good time Rhythm & Blues from a band featuring superb songstress, Helen Turner, often likened to Maggie Bell

TJ and the Demons  - Storming Chicago Blues from Harp virtuoso T J Norton and his band.

Tommy Allen - Oh so talented young guitarist, singer, songwriter and leader of Trafficker. Great musician and great band.

The Wildcards  - Simply superb! The hottest new blues & roost act around. Deep Blues, hot swing & savage rockabilly!

The Zeds  - A "high energy trio from Watford who take the best elements of British r'n'b, American garage rock" and you can read the rest on their site!
