Digital Blues wants to help bands find musicians and musicians find bands.

If you are a band looking for a musician, drop us an e-mail via the Contact Us page telling us who you are, where you are, what sort of musician you are looking for, not forgetting to say what instrument is required, any additional details, some contact info etc.

We will post your requests on this page but don't forget to tell us when you have found what you are looking for!

Remember this is primarily intended for Blues players but as long as we do not get inundated I guess we can cover all genres.

Bass Player Wanted

Bad Hair Day, the hard working and well respected Essex based blues band, are looking for a singing bass player to join their twin guitar and drums line up. It may be possible to swap around a bit if you don’t want to play bass all the time as both guitarists also play bass and the band has a second vocalist so such duties would also be shared.

The successful applicant must have his/her own transport and be prepared and able to gig regularly at least 2 to 3 times a month.

Top Essex Band Seeks Guitarist

The NightFlies are a loud rockin' rhythm & blues band. Been formed around 3 years now and recently lost our guitar player. We have shows coming up almost nationwide, Upton Blues Festival, Worcester & MRA Rally in Wales to name a couple. Plus gigs in Belgium this winter. We need a powerful lone guitar man. There are 3 other members vocals/harmonica, bass & drums. We play high energy British R’n’B, think Dr. Feelgood, The Inmates, Eddie & The Hot Rods, but we write to record ALL our own material. One CD made another taking shape right now. Great opportunity to join a popular band (2nd in Digital Blues Awards 2007) with some real good tunes, not standard blues, but good rockin' boogie. Ability to write and do backing vocals preferred but not essential.

Singer seeking musicians to form band

Although this is not a Blues act, Charley Bird is a very talented 18 year old vocalist from Basildon.

She's seeking  musicians to put a band together and start gigging. The plan is to get lots of shows lined up for next year.
